Time To Change Mental Health campaign

In a bid to tackle the stigma around mental health issues, Ford joined forces with Time to Change – the anti-stigma and discrimination campaign run by mental health charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness – to launch a national awareness campaign that urged people to break the silence on mental health and find a safe space to talk.

The campaign looked to break down the barriers around mental health issues and get people talking – particularly among men who have been identified as a vulnerable demographic for suicide.

Spokespeople for the campaign included Sue Baker, Director of Mind, and Andy Barratt, Chairman of Ford. The radio day reached over 50 million weekly listeners and included 14 head to head interviews on national and key regional radio stations, including Sky News, Radio 4 Today programme, BBC World Service.
